Bring your favorite dish and join us this Sunday for our monthly potluck and quarterly McKinney-Vento donation drive. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are always appreciated! We encourage everyone to bring their own reusable plates and utensils from home, but we will have paper and plastic options available.
Every quarter we collect shelf-stable food items to assemble "snack bags" for students and families in the USD 259 McKinney-Vento program during our monthly potluck. We’re collecting 24 of each item, and you can see what we still need here: www.bit.ly/WichitaOasisMV.
The McKinney-Vento Program provides services for students and families in Wichita to help them overcome obstacles and barriers such as homelessness so that students can be successful in school.
About Wichita Oasis. Wichita Oasis is a non-religious community for people to come together to connect, be inspired, and feel empowered. We meet weekly on Sunday mornings and programming may include featured speakers, live local musicians, potlucks, service projects, game days, and more. The program starts at 11:00 AM, and people are encouraged to come half an hour earlier for coffee, snacks, and conversation.
Kid's Room. Two experienced and vetted adults are ready to help make your child’s experience at Wichita Oasis as fun and engaging as the main program.
