What to bring:
Bring cut-resistant gloves and trash grabbers if you have them. We’ll have a few pairs of gloves, trash bags, and water available. Warm layers, hats, sunscreen, and sunglasses are also a good idea!

Where to meet:
We’ll first meet at our usual gathering space to sign waivers before carpooling over to the park. Then around 12:00 pm, we’ll head back to the building to regroup before heading for lunch around 12:30 pm at Panera (Central & Hillside).

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll head to Panera early and then reschedule the park cleanup for another day.

Starting Somewhere is a crash course in organizing, educating, and agitating in the 21st Century. We will be discussing the lessons we’ve learned from the book and identify what we actions we can start taking now.
